I am inspired to give to the Literacy Network because I find my learner to be inspirational. He is a very willing and appreciative learner. He’s there every week/ He always does his work. He is grateful for our time together and appreciative of the Literacy Network.

Last week, Literacy Network volunteer Ruth Robarts received a Community Volunteer Award from United Way of Dane County! Ruth embodies “improving lives through literacy” in her daily work with learners in LitNet’s citizenship and tutoring programs. She has been a dedicated tutor and intern with Literacy Network for 10 years!
