Student-Led Partnership with Madison Public Library Promotes Learner Success

Literacy Network has partnered with Goodman South Madison Library for nearly 10 years to support adult learners in Dane County. This partnership includes Community English classes, which are offered three eight-week semesters per year, currently as a hybrid of virtual and in-person classes. Through Community English classes, adult learners work toward their personal English goals, ranging from being able to participate in parent-teacher conferences to applying for a new job. Madison Public Library recently shared an impact story on its website about the growth and success of the program. Click here to read the full impact story.
