RSVP Bus Buddies collaboration brings learners to Chazen

This summer, a group of adult learners who are a part of Literacy Network’s refugee program worked with RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) of Dane County’s “Bus Buddies” program to visit the Chazen Museum of Art.

The Bus Buddies program connects retired and senior members of the Dane County community with community members who don’t have much experience riding the city bus system. Throughout the year, Literacy Network collaborates with RSVP to offer educational bus excursions for participants in Literacy Network’s Refugee Program. On the most recent trip, members of the class traveled to the Chazen, enjoying the Modern art collection.
