What is Literacy Network?
Literacy Network is a place that can help you improve your skills if:
» you do not speak English
» you want to read better
» you want to learn to write better

Who will teach me?
You will be matched with a volunteer tutor who will help you.

Where will I meet my tutor?
You can meet anywhere that works for both you and your tutor.

What is the cost?
It is FREE!!

Can anyone get a tutor?
No. You cannot get a tutor if:
» you are younger than 18
» you are a student or employee at the University of Wisconsin or the spouse of a student or employee at the university. The university has a free tutoring service that can help you. You can call the GUTS program at 608-263-5666.

What other programs do you have?
We have a computer lab with fun and easy programs to practice your skills at Literacy Network. We also have group classes all around Madison. Call us at 244-3911 for more information.
