Literacy Network hosts three signature events each year: Reading Between the Wines, Run for Literacy, and Growing Through Literacy.  We also host multiple book sales throughout the year at our office, 701 Dane Street.

Additionally, organizations and businesses partner with us to raise money on our behalf.  Special events are a great way to support Literacy Network and adult literacy in Dane County.  If you are interested in hosting a fundraising event on behalf of Literacy Network, please contact Wendi at

Book Sale

Until recently, Literacy Network held seasonal book sales in support of our adult literacy programs. We will now be converting our basement, previously used by the book sale, into a classroom for adult literacy programs! Thank you to everybody who volunteered with, shopped at, and donated books to Literacy Network’s book sales. You helped raise thousands of dollars in support of adult literacy education!

Literacy Network is no longer accepting donations of used books for our book sale. If you have books you would like to donate to a good cause, ask your local library if they are accepting donations at this time. For children’s books, we recommend contacting our friends at Madison Reading Project to see if they would be interested in your generous donation.
